P.A. Supplemental Programs
 

The P.A. helps our principal supplement our children’s education by organizing and funding programs, subsidizing field trips, purchasing books and other educational materials, and funding classroom equipment to be utilized by students throughout the school. Last year’s Arts programs included:

• City Dance Center,

• Cobu (Japanese Taiko Drum Troup),

• Brooklyn Opera Company,

• Little Orchestra’s Lollipops and Happy Concerts,

• The NY POPS Concert at Carnegie Hall,

• Mad Scientists.

The P.A. also organizes an After-School Program that offers classes daily for grades K-6. Classes begin immediately after school and run until 4:30pm. There are 2 sessions during the school year in the Fall and Spring. Look for the After-School brochure and registration materials in your child’s backpack in the near future..

REMEMBER: The P.A. is YOUR school association and a forum to  address parents’ concerns within the school. We are only as strong as our membership and a strong P.A. leads to a better education for our children. THE P.A. NEEDS YOU!
